The first album by Distorted World "Between the Strophes" was released on 12.12.12 and has taken 7th place in top-10 debut albums by gothic.ru. Today, at 06.14.2013  we release a new single "Personal Necropolis", a precursor for the featured second full-length CD.

            "Personal Necropolis" is devoted to escapism. A new revelation about the dark depths of a human mind in which the character of the story hides, looking for another meaning to life. His own meaning that is incomprehensible for most people and damnable by humanity. "Personal Necropolis" - this is the place he hides...

      The first CD, called "Between the Strophes", was released in 2012 on Artificial Sun label in an amount of 500 copies. This release is a full-length album containing 9 original tracks, atmospheric Intro and Outro and also five remixes.

        The music of Distorted World represents the symbiosis of analog synths, built in symphonic elements, unearthly and sedate distorted vocals, heavy and thick dark atmosphere that throws you down right into the depths of hell where no light or screams can be found. There is only darkness, wet corridors and rotting but living sinners whose ribcages are stuck in with the demons’ pitchforks. Such tracks as 'Mysterious World', 'Between the Strophes', 'Boiler Room', 'Cursed Herd', 'Ruined Kingdoms' and 'March of the Rotting Flesh' can easily obsess the true lover of dark images. Tracks 'Hexentanz' and 'Devil Worship' with their dancing groove don’t ruin the dark fashion of this music but add variety.

The most outstanding part of the album is the duet song 'Dream' of Ivan and Angelina. Girl’s clean vocals dispel the darkness and now we can dream about freedom, favorite crafts, our home to the song but suddenly a muddy voice of a prison guardian pulls us out of this apparition and locks up back in a high tower on the sea bank.
